IEEE SVP is a non-profit organization focused in brining internships and volunteering opportunities to students before entering the global workforces.

Is there a fee for your services?

IEEE SVP does not charge fees for all registration types. These include students, companies, government agencies and professional conferences.  We only provide introduction of opportunities to prospective students. Similar to a university's career service, IEEE SVP screens listed opportunities and pushes relevant ones to prospective students. The students are expected to evaluate and follow up with the leads and make decisions independently.

What can I do if I find a fraudulent opportunity ad?

Please report your findings to security-IEEESVP@gmail.com.  We will conduct investigation and publish our findings. We also encourage the community to comment on our findings. Depending upon your personal losses, you may also report it by following the steps listed in https://www.usa.gov/stop-scams-frauds in USA.  For international fraud, please follow https://econsumer.gov/#crnt .

How can I join the SVP communities?

Once your email address is authenticated and you have protected your account with a secure password, you can join any SVP community organically. The initial communities are listed in Recent Opportunities.

What can we do for legal issues concerning interns hired via your service?

IEEE SVP's Terms of Services stipulated that IEEE SVP will not be held liable for any losses incurred related to our introduction services to employers, agencies and conferences. The users must conduct independent due diligence before all hiring decisions.

How much of my personal data will be published?

Please consult IEEE SVP Privacy Policy for details. In general, you decide how much of your personal data should be public visible. You can also select strict one-on-one secured communication via your own devices. We only provide you the information sources.
